Job summary

BHP is seeking a Mine Control professional to operate within the Integrated Operations Centre's Front Runner fleet management. You will own daily operations, optimise truck fleet utilisation, and ensure adherence to schedules and safety standards.

The role emphasizes continuous improvement, effective collaboration, and adaptability within a large technology-driven mining environment. A lifestyle roster and site-based operations are expected in Perth.

Qualifications

• Previous Mine Control experience required as either a Mine Controller or Dispatch Operator.
• Prior experience with Modular Dispatch™ or Frontrunner™ systems will be highly regarded.
• Excellent time management and organisational skills.
• Collaborative, coaching and influencing skills.
• A high level of computer literacy and excellent verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Understand site Safety Systems and their link to health and safety.
• Manage the fleet effectively and efficiently.
• Maximise compliance to operational plan.
• Promote positive relationships through effective communication and consultation.
• Ability to work under pressure and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.
• Identify system and operational process improvements in the use of the fleet management system.
