Job summary

Private Advertiser in Sydney, NSW seeks an experienced Centre Director to lead a small, family-run service and build a capable team. You will know the children by name, manage rosters, ensure QA compliance and report weekly KPIs directly to the owners.

A supportive admin/marketing team helps with CCS, Centrelink, and social media; JOINTLY you’ll guide the service through growth and potential centre acquisitions toward an Area Manager pathway.

Qualifications

• Minimum 5 years experience as a Centre Director and 10 years in early childhood.
• Confident using OWNA.
• Strong working knowledge of the Fair Work Act, the Children's Services Award and the Educational Services (Teachers) Award.
• Confident liaising with the Department during spot checks and visits.
• Comfortable reporting on weekly centre KPIs directly to the owners.
• Highly knowledgable in centre compliance and the QAs.
• Organised, efficient and excellent at managing your time.
• Works autonomously with minimal hands on support from management.
• Builds rapport quickly with families and educators, enthusiastic, kind and calm.

Responsibilities

• Lead the centre ensuring high standards of care and education.
• Oversee staffing, rosters and performance.
• Maintain compliance with regulatory requirements and QA processes.
• Liaise with families, educators and the owners on KPIs and reporting.
• Drive continuous improvement and a pathway toward Area Manager roles.
• Represent the service during spot checks and visits.
