Job summary

Scenic Motors is seeking automotive technicians at all levels for Beaudesert in the Scenic Rim. From 3rd/4th year apprentices through to experienced diagnostic technicians, we offer a pathway and ongoing development.

Remuneration reflects experience, qualifications, and capability, with a structured progression to senior and diagnostic roles. Monday–Friday full-time, with weekend roster may apply, as we build our technical team for the future.

Qualifications

• Apprenticeship or trade qualification in light vehicle mechanics.
• Experience with diagnostic work and electrical systems.
• Willingness to undergo manufacturer training.
• Ability to work across multiple brands.

Responsibilities

• Contribute to workshop diagnostics and repairs.
• Participate in manufacturer training and development.

If you're an experienced Diagnostic Technician with advanced manufacturer training, strong electrical knowledge and the ability to diagnose complex vehicle faults, we'd like you to consider what your next step could look like with Scenic Motors.

Ford, Hyundai or Mitsubishi experience would be highly regarded, but technicians from other manufacturers are strongly encouraged to apply.

You’ll have the opportunity to work alongside experienced technicians and diagnostic staff while developing your skills through practical experience and manufacturer training.

Our goal is to provide a pathway from apprentice to qualified technician and, for those who want to take it further, into Senior and Diagnostic Technician roles.

• A current Australian driver's licence

Qualified applicants should hold an appropriate Light Vehicle Mechanical qualification.

Apprentices should currently be completing their automotive apprenticeship.

Dealership experience is desirable but not essential.
