Job summary

Powerhouse Auto Services – North Manly NSW is seeking an experienced and qualified motor mechanic and technician to join our team. The role involves diagnosing and servicing a range of passenger vehicles, performing maintenance and repairs, identifying issues, and road testing vehicles.

Candidate must have own tools, be able to work unsupervised or in a team, and hold a valid (unsuspended) Australian driver’s licence. AIS examiner authorization is preferred or achievable soon.

Qualifications

• Is an experienced and qualified motor mechanic and technician.
• Is an authorised AIS examiner (or is willing to obtain authorisation as soon as possible).
• Has their own tools.
• Can work effectively unsupervised and as part of a team.
• Has ability to work quickly with great attention to detail.
• Has a valid (unsuspended) Australian driver’s licence.

The role will involve:

Diagnosing and servicing a range of different passenger vehicles

Carrying out maintenance and repair work

Identifying and repairing technical/mechanical issues

Speaking with customers either in person or over the phone

Road testing vehicles

We are looking for someone who:
