Job summary

Geely Auto Australia is seeking a Sales Planning Analyst to support sales performance through accurate forecasting, inventory planning, and vehicle allocation. You will work with Sales, Finance, Logistics, Product, Marketing, IT and GEELY HQ to analyse sales and stock trends and provide actionable insights for decision-making.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Business, Commerce, Supply Chain Management, Finance, Marketing or related field.
• 3-5 years' experience in Sales Planning, Sales Operations, Demand Planning or similar analytical role.
• Automotive industry experience preferred, with understanding of vehicle sales planning, wholesale and retail operations, stock management and dealer operations.
• Strong analytical skills with experience analysing sales performance, budgets, forecasts and KPIs.
• Advanced Microsoft Excel skills; experience with Power BI, ERP systems or other BI/reporting tools would be advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Manage the monthly Short-Term Sales Planning process, including sales and stockholding forecasts by model line and reporting of actual performance to GEELY HQ.
• Analyse monthly sales and stock performance against budget, forecast and KPIs.
• Prepare weekly and monthly sales and stock reports, highlighting performance gaps, risks and opportunities to Management and the Sales team.
• Support the preparation of annual budgets, planning rounds and scenario forecasts using information from Sales, Product, Marketing, Finance and GEELY HQ.
• Monitor sales trends, dealer performance, stock availability and market conditions to support sales planning and management decision-making.
• Produce accurate Stock and Sales Run-Down Reports (SSRD) and detailed inventory reports for Management and the Sales team.
