Job summary

Toyota Motor Corporation Australia is seeking a Regulations Engineer to join the Product Planning & Development division in a full-time permanent role based in Altona North, Melbourne, with flexible work options.

You will support the development and maintenance of regulatory compliance frameworks to ensure Toyota products meet ADR and international regulations, while coordinating with internal and external stakeholders to implement changes and drive compliant product offerings.

Qualifications

• Degree in Engineering or Automotive Engineering.
• Experience supporting vehicle homologation and regulatory compliance in automotive.
• Knowledge of Australian ADR and vehicle certification requirements.
• Familiarity with UNECE/ECE standards and their application to vehicle compliance.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills for regulatory projects.
• Excellent stakeholder engagement and organisational skills.

Responsibilities

• Support development and maintenance of regulatory compliance frameworks and initiatives.
• Assist in implementing compliance processes to meet certification requirements.
• Review ADR and government submissions to support compliance activities.
• Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on regulatory changes and updates.
• Contribute to regulatory project assessments and risk mitigation actions.
• Monitor compliance obligations and track performance against targets.
