Job summary
Toyota Motor Corporation Australia invites applications for a Regulations Engineer in our Altona North team. The role sits within the Product Planning & Development division and focuses on regulatory compliance for automotive products, including ADR and international standards.
You will support the development and maintenance of compliance frameworks, liaise with stakeholders, and help ensure certification objectives are met while benefiting from a hybrid working arrangement.
Qualifications
- Degree in Engineering or Automotive Engineering, or equivalent experience.
- Experience with vehicle homologation, certification, and regulatory activities.
- Knowledge of Australian Design Rules (ADR) and Australian vehicle certification.
- Familiarity with UNECE/ECE standards and cross-border vehicle compliance.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving and stakeholder communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Support development and maintenance of regulatory compliance frameworks.
- Review ADR and government submissions for compliance activities.
- Liaise with internal and external stakeholders on regulatory changes.
- Contribute to regulatory project assessments and risk mitigation.
- Monitor project activities and track compliance against targets.
