Job summary

TG Automotive in Miranda, NSW is seeking a qualified mechanic/diagnostic technician for full-time work in a busy workshop that handles Euro and Japanese vehicles. You will be responsible for diagnostics, mechanical work, and electrical fault-finding to support a range of job types.

The role requires strong diagnostic and electrical skills, a Cert III or equivalent, and a Pink & Blue Slip or willingness to obtain it. A reliable, team-oriented mindset and ability to work overtime is valuable.

Qualifications

• Qualified mechanic with Cert III or equivalent.
• Pink & Blue Slip licence or willingness to obtain one.
• Strong diagnostic and electrical skills.
• Physically fit and able to perform R&R work.
• Reliable, able to work independently and in a team.
• Keen to learn and take on a variety of jobs.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose and fault-find on Euro and Japanese vehicles.
• Use Autel tool for fault diagnosis and data collection.
• Perform general mechanical work: clutches, suspension, servicing, engine swaps/rebuilds.
• Carry out electrical diagnostics and wiring repairs.
• Tackle occasional R&D and performance-related tasks.

Qualified Mechanic / Diagnostic Technician - Full Time
Location: Miranda, NSW

We’re looking for a full-time qualified mechanic to join our workshop in Miranda. We work on a mix of Euro and Japanese vehicles and need someone confident with diagnostics, general mechanical work and electrical fault-finding.

About the Job

• Pink & Blue Slip inspections
• Autel scan tool use and fault diagnosis
• General mechanical work: clutches, suspension, servicing, engine swaps/rebuilds
• Electrical diagnostics, wiring repairs and some performance work
• Occasional R&D and performance-related jobs

Hours

• Monday-Friday: 7:30am-4:30pm
• Regular overtime available (AND REQUIRED)
• Saturday work available (AND REQUIRED)
