RACQ is seeking an experienced Automotive Mechanic for our Eight Mile Plains workshop in Brisbane. You’ll perform servicing, repairs, diagnostics and maintenance, delivering quality workmanship and a great member experience.

You’ll work with a hands-on, supportive team and have opportunities to grow your skills and career with RACQ Auto as the business expands. A Certificate III or higher automotive qualification is required, along with a C Class licence and strong customer service skills.

As our mechanical services continue to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Automotive Mechanic who takes pride in their work and delivering a great experience for our members. You’ll join a hands-on, supportive team and have the opportunity to build a rewarding long-term career with one of Queensland’s most recognised brands.

About the role

You’ll use your mechanical experience to complete vehicle servicing, repairs, diagnostics and maintenance, working alongside experienced tradespeople in a team that takes pride in quality workmanship.

About you

We’re looking for experienced mechanics who take pride in doing the job right. You’ll bring:

• A Certificate III or higher automotive qualification
• Strong servicing, diagnostic and repair skills
• A safety-first approach
• Good communication and customer service skills
• The ability to work independently and as part of a close-kin team
• A current C Class Driver Licence

You’ll also need to be able to complete RACQ’s required pre-employment checks.
