Real Automotive in Oakleigh is seeking a qualified light vehicle mechanic with certificate III and at least 3 years local experience. You will diagnose and repair a wide range of vehicles, with emphasis on European makes, and contribute to a small, friendly team in a clean workshop.

We offer a full-time role (38 hours/week), above award wages, and a supportive environment with good work/life balance. Overtime and weekends are not required.

Formación

• Qualified (Certificate III) with at least 3 years local experience.
• Solid knowledge across a wide range of vehicle makes and models, European knowledge preferred.
• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills.

Our workshop has been proudly servicing and repairing cars in Oakleigh for over 15 years. Our busy, well-established workshop is looking for a qualified and experienced light vehicle mechanic to join our team. We pride ourselves on providing honest customer service, high-quality work, and creating a fun, healthy work atmosphere where our staff enjoy a great work/life balance.

• Full-time (38 hours/week) – Monday to Thursday, 8 AM - 6 PM (No overtime, No weekend work)

What We’re Looking For

• Qualified (Certificate III) with at least 3 years local working experience and solid knowledge across a wide range of vehicle makes and models, European vehicle knowledge is a must.

• Excellent troubleshooting and diagnostic skills

• Ability to work independently without supervision

• Strong work ethic, reliability, and punctuality

• Great communication skills and organizational abilities

• Competence in performing essential diagnostics and repairs on various makes and models

• A genuine passion for the automotive industry and a willingness to learn

• Must hold a current Victorian driver’s licence (no restrictions)

• Full working rights

• RWC testing licence or A/C handling licence is advantageous but not essential
