Ocado Group Australia seeks a Technical Operator to support Engineering Operations at the Wetherill Park site. The role requires a 24/7 shift pattern with days, nights and weekends, and involves operating bagging machines, conveyors and robotic equipment while performing cleaning and housekeeping to maximise efficiency.

Under supervision of engineers, you will assist in maintenance tasks, identify straightforward faults, and support on-grid robotic pick systems.

Qualifications

• Able to plan and prioritise tasks in a fast-paced, automated environment.
• Comfortable working on 24/7 rotating shifts including days, afternoons and nights.
• Experience with automated warehousing, conveyors and robotic equipment is desirable.
• Willingness to perform cleaning and basic housekeeping as part of operations.

Responsabilités

• Operate bagging machines and delivery conveyors to maintain efficient bagging operations.
• Load and operate bag stock, quality control, and escalate issues as needed.
• Assist in machine setup and routine fault resolution under engineer supervision.
• Support maintenance tasks and identify trends for potential improvements.
• Maintain high availability of end effectors and consumables for robotic systems.
