Job summary

Ocado Group seeks a Service Technician to support the automated Customer Fulfilment Centre in Wetherill Park, NSW. You will perform planned maintenance, diagnose equipment, update records and collaborate with suppliers to improve machine reliability.

The role requires day, night and weekend shifts for 24/7 operations. Ideal candidates have basic automation knowledge, an engineering qualification (advantageous), strong problem solving and good communication.

Qualifications

• Some technical ability relating to automation hardware and software; training can be provided.
• Demonstrable analytical skills with sound problem solving ability.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills to impart knowledge.

Responsibilities

• Carrying out planned maintenance across the site in an accurate, timely and safe manner.
• Update records of work activities, parts used and training given.
• Diagnose equipment breakdowns, resolve issues and action repairs.
• Analyze data to improve MHE performance and provide reports.
• Perform quality inspections and follow safety policies.
