Job summary

Akkodis is hiring a Functional Automation Test Analyst in Canberra to deliver manual and automated testing across enterprise apps. You will work with Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform, developing robust test strategies, maintaining UI and API tests, and integrating tests into CI/CD pipelines.

The role requires strong QA capabilities, experience with Playwright or Selenium, and collaboration across Agile teams to ensure scalable, reliable business solutions.

Qualifications

• Experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform applications including Power Apps, Power Pages and Dataverse.
• Strong experience across UI, functional, integration, system, regression and UAT testing.
• Hands-on experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro, or similar.
• Experience integrating automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines.
• Strong proficiency with Azure DevOps, VS Code, source control, defect management, and test reporting tools.
• Solid understanding of SDLC and Agile delivery methodologies.
• Ability to learn new technologies and business processes quickly.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills.

The Role

As a Functional Automation Test Analyst, you will be responsible for delivering both manual and automated testing activities across enterprise applications and digital platforms. Working within a mature testing practice, you will support the testing of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions, including Power Apps, Power Pages, and Dataverse-based applications.

You will play a key role in ensuring business systems are reliable, scalable, and fit for purpose through comprehensive testing strategies, automated regression testing, and integration of testing into CI/CD pipelines.

• Develop and maintain automated UI and API test suites
• Support testing of Microsoft Dynamics 365 and Power Platform solutions

• Integrate automated testing into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Validate end-to-end business processes and enterprise application workflows
• Contribute to continuous improvement of testing frameworks, processes, and methodologies
• Collaborate within Agile multidisciplinary teams to deliver quality outcomes

Requirements

• Demonstrated experience testing Microsoft Dynamics 365 and/or Power Platform applications, including Power Apps, Power Pages, and Dataverse
• Strong experience across UI, functional, integration, system, regression, and UAT testing
• Proven hands‑on experience with test automation frameworks such as Playwright, Selenium, EasyRepro, or similar
• Experience with API and integration testing using tools such as Postman, Newman, REST Assured, or Playwright API testing
• Experience integrating automated test suites into Azure DevOps CI/CD pipelines
• Strong proficiency with Azure DevOps, VS Code, source control, defect management, and test reporting tools
• Solid understanding of SDLC principles and Agile delivery methodologies
• Ability to quickly learn new technologies, applications, and business processes
• Strong communication and stakeholder engagement skills
• Ability to work independently and manage competing priorities effectively

Desirable

• ISTQB Automation Certification or similar certification
• Experience supporting Dynamics 365, Dataverse, Power Platform, and Power BI environments
• Experience with Jira or similar test and defect management platforms
• Federal Government project experience highly regarded
