Job summary
Michael Page is recruiting for a site Automation Leader in a highly automated FMCG manufacturing environment. You will be responsible for the ongoing performance, reliability and development of automation systems across PLCs, HMIs, SCADA and robotics, delivering hands-on engineering support to production teams.
You will lead automation projects from concept through to implementation, troubleshoot complex issues and drive continuous improvement, safety and productivity across the site.
Qualifications
- Degree qualifications in Electrical, Mechatronics or Mechanical Engineering.
- Strong experience with Allen Bradley / Rockwell Automation PLCs.
- Expertise across industrial control systems in FMCG manufacturing.
- Experience with industrial communication networks.
- Proven experience delivering automation projects in manufacturing.
- Strong troubleshooting and fault-finding capability.
- Excellent stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
- Hands-on approach to engineering and operational support.
