Zusammenfassung

Simplot are seeking a Control Systems Programmer to join our Engineering team at the Devonport vegetable processing facility in North West Tasmania. You will work in a highly automated manufacturing environment, supporting, maintaining and enhancing the site's automation and control systems.

Reporting to the Control Systems Engineer, this role offers the opportunity to drive PLC/SCADA/HMI development, diagnose faults and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives across the facility.

Qualifikationen

• Relevant tertiary qualifications in Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics, Automation or Control Systems Engineering.
• Experience in industrial automation and programming in process environments.
• Proficiency with PLC/SCADA platforms and electrical CAD tools.

Aufgaben

• Develop, maintain and optimise PLC, SCADA and HMI systems across the site.
• Diagnose and resolve control system faults to minimise downtime and improve plant performance.
• Support the implementation and commissioning of automation and control system projects.
• Identify and deliver continuous improvement opportunities through automation and process optimisation.
• Collaborate with Engineering, Production and Maintenance to improve equipment reliability and efficiency.
