Job summary

KONE in Gold Coast, QLD is seeking a Doors Maintenance Technician to service and install automatic doors across a range of buildings. You will maintain and attend to breakdowns on doors, shutters and gates, while upholding health, quality and safety standards.

The role requires a full driver’s license and a safety-focused, team-oriented approach, with flexibility for on-call duties and travel within the local region.

Qualifications

• Electrical licence an advantage but not essential
• Doors industry experience an advantage but not essential
• A full driver’s licence required
• Mechanical or electrical aptitude required
• Exposure to breakdowns is highly advantageous
• Commitment to working safely with a strong focus on quality
• Excellent communication skills and ability to work as part of a team
• Flexibility in participation in a rotational on call roster

Responsibilities

• Installing automatic doors
• Maintaining and attending to breakdowns on automatic doors, roller shutters and gates
• Carrying out all activities in accordance with KONE policies and procedures including health, quality and safety standards
• Working to actively maintain customer relationships in the local region
