Job summary

Noumi Limited in Sydney is seeking a production operator to join our fast-paced food manufacturing team. You will operate automated batching and mixing systems, prepare ingredients, and ensure products meet safety and quality standards.

You'll work closely with Operations, Quality and Engineering to drive reliability and continuous improvement, maintain accurate production records, and support delivery targets while keeping a clean, safe working environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing (desirable).
• Experience operating batching, mixing or processing equipment (desirable).
• Understanding of food safety, GMP and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes and procedures.
• Proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.
• Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.
• A forklift licence and experience operating forklifts (desirable).

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated batching and mixing equipment.
• Accurately weigh and prepare ingredients according to approved recipes.
• Complete batching activities while maintaining food safety and quality standards.
• Perform product testing and quality checks throughout production.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, escalating where required.
• Support production targets through effective equipment operation and problem solving.
• Work closely with Operations, Quality and Engineering teams to drive reliability and continuous improvement.
• Maintain accurate production records and ensure a safe, clean working environment.
