Job summary

Noumi Limited is seeking an enthusiastic production operator to join our fast-paced food manufacturing teams in Sydney. You will operate automated batching and mixing systems, weigh ingredients, and ensure products meet safety and quality standards.

With a focus on reliability and continuous improvement, you will collaborate with Operations, Quality and Engineering, maintain records, and help us deliver nutritious beverages across markets.

Qualifications

• Experience in food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing.
• Experience operating batching, mixing or processing equipment.
• Understanding of food safety, GMP and quality standards.
• Strong attention to detail and ability to follow recipes.
• Proactive problem solving and continuous improvement mindset.
• Able to work collaboratively in a team.
• Forklift licence and forklift operation experience.

Responsibilities

• Operate and monitor automated batching and mixing equipment.
• Accurately weigh and prepare ingredients according to approved recipes.
• Complete batching activities while maintaining food safety and quality standards.
• Perform product testing and quality checks throughout production.
• Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, escalating as needed.
• Support production targets through effective equipment operation.
• Work with Operations, Quality and Engineering to drive reliability and improvement.
• Maintain accurate production records and a safe, clean environment.

The Opportunity

Working in a fast-paced food manufacturing environment, you will be responsible for operating automated batching and mixing systems, preparing ingredients, and ensuring products are manufactured safely, efficiently and in line with quality standards.

Operate and monitor automated mixing and batching equipment.

Accurately weigh and prepare ingredients according to approved recipes.

Complete batching activities while maintaining food safety and quality standards.

Perform product testing and quality checks throughout production.

Troubleshoot equipment and process issues, escalating where required.

Support production targets through effective equipment operation and problem solving.

Work closely with Operations, Quality and Engineering teams to drive reliability and continuous improvement.

Maintain accurate production records and ensure a safe, clean working environment.

What you’ll bring

Previous experience in food, beverage or FMCG manufacturing (desirable).

Experience operating batching, mixing or processing equipment (desirable).

Understanding of food safety, GMP and quality standards.

Strong attention to detail and commitment to following recipes and procedures.

A proactive approach to problem solving and continuous improvement.

Ability to work collaboratively within a team environment.

A forklift licence and experience operating forklifts (desirable).
