GC Marine is seeking a skilled AutoCAD Draftsperson to join our Arundel-based Engineering Department. You will create accurate AutoCAD drawings and manage the pontoon approval process.

You will contact clients for approval updates and liaise with statutory agencies to discuss approval stages, while providing layout solutions and collaborating with engineers to deliver practical marine berthing projects.

Qualifikationen

• AutoCAD design knowledge and experience is essential.
• Minimum of 2 years of AutoCAD experience.
• Experience with understanding the fabrication process and drawing practically fabri-cable components.
• Good problem-solving skills.
• Ability to understand and interpret relevant Australian Standards.

About the role…

We are currently seeking a skilled and motivated draftsperson to join our dynamic team of Engineers and draftsmen. In this role, you will primarily be responsible for creating accurate AutoCAD drawings whilst completing and managing the pontoon approval process.

Pivotal to the role, you will be required to phone clients with approval updates as well as calling statutory agencies (Councils, Waterways, Maritime Safety Queensland, SARA, DETSI etc) to discuss the various stages of the approval process, manage information requests as well as providing detailed information regarding layout solutions. As a valued member of our enthusiastic team, you will collaborate closely with fellow professionals to bring innovative projects to life.

To be successful in this role you will need…

• AutoCAD design knowledge and experience - this is essential to the role
