Job summary

Vault Minerals, Deflector Operation, seeks Auto Electricians with underground fleet experience to join the on-site maintenance team. The role focuses on preventive maintenance and repairs across underground and surface mobile equipment, ensuring compliance with safety standards and procedures.

Reporting to the Maintenance Leading Hand, the Auto Electrician will operate on 8:6, 7:7 or 15:13 FIFO roster from Perth or DIDO from Geraldton, with day and night shifts.

Qualifications

• Trade certificate or equivalent required.
• Minimum 2 years’ underground maintenance experience.
• Refrigerant Handling Licence required.
• Air Conditioning ARC Accreditation required.
• WA C-Class Driver’s Licence mandatory.
• HRW Licence mandatory.

Responsibilities

• Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on underground and surface mobile equipment.
• Conduct fault finding and diagnostics for timely repairs.
• Ensure all maintenance activities meet Vault Minerals’ standards.
• Minimise production disruptions by securing parts and equipment.
• Maintain relationships with external service providers and suppliers.
• Complete all documentation and work orders with sign-offs.
• Communicate effectively with production and maintenance teams.
• Attend shift change meetings and provide accurate handovers.
• Identify opportunities for improvement and cost savings.
