Job summary

Emeco is hiring Auto Electricians across multiple sites in Western Australia. The role requires 2+ years’ experience in open-cut mining and working on heavy mobile plant. You will perform 12/24-volt electrical repairs, diagnostics and routine PMs while supporting a collaborative team.

Qualifications

• Must have full working rights within Australia.
• Hold a current Australian Drivers licence.
• Nationally accredited Automotive Electrical Trade Certificate.
• Nationally recognised Air Conditioning licence and High-Risk Licence (mandatory).
• Minimum 2 years' post-trade experience with heavy earthmoving equipment (Caterpillar, Komatsu, Hitachi).
• Proven diagnostic and troubleshooting ability with respect to heavy earth moving equipment electrical and wiring systems.

Responsibilities

• Carry out 12/24-volt electrical repairs and undertake routine PM and upgrade improvements.
• Ensure all electrical repairs are performed in accordance with Company guidelines and within cost targets.
• Diagnostics fault finding on electrical systems.
• Willing to assist other trades on site while working cohesively within a team to reach a common goal.
• Work with Emeco customers to meet company objectives.
