Job summary

BHP is seeking an Auto Electrician for the Mobile Fleet at Olympic Dam on a 7/7 rotating roster. The role involves delivering Auto-Electrical maintenance support to the Mobile Fleet maintenance team, adhering to safety standards and site requirements.

Operates on FIFO from Adelaide with DIDO options from regional SA or Roxby Downs bus services. Underground experience is preferred but not essential; join a large, diverse team in a world-class mining operation.

Qualifications

• Australian recognised Auto-Electrical trade qualifications with heavy machinery experience.
• Underground mining experience is highly regarded but not essential.
• Rigger, Dogger, Crane, FL and Bridge & Gantry tickets are advantageous.
• Solid time management skills and ability to prioritise.
• A proactive team player who is also self-motivated and able to work effectively unsupervised.
• Ability to communicate well across multiple levels and disciplines.

Responsibilities

• Promote and follow safety standards and procedures daily.
• Assist with planned maintenance and complete tasks on time.
• Provide Auto-Electrical trade skills for unplanned or breakdown maintenance.
• Maintain mobile equipment in workshop or infield as part of the breakdown team.
• Work with your team to a high level of accountability and build productive relationships.
• Provide feedback to the Shift Maintenance Supervisors on job progress.
