Job summary

Thiess Iron Bridge is seeking an Auto-Electrician to join our Field team, covering electrical maintenance across heavy track equipment on a 2/2 roster. You will work on CAT 6060, Hitachi 1900/2500, D10T/D65s and other plant, performing diagnostics and repairs in-field with a safety-first approach.

The role requires experience with haul trucks in mining, reading schematics, and valid licensing. Thiess offers full camp facilities, permanent FT positions, and opportunities for training and

Qualifications

• Proven experience in the maintenance of Haul trucks and associated plant equipment in a mining environment.
• CAT and Liebherr experience highly desirable.
• Valid Driver's Licence.
• Current Standard 11.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a fleet of Haul Trucks and associated plant equipment safely and efficiently to meet site maintenance schedules.
• Service and repairs to heavy vehicle air-conditioning systems.
• Reading electrical schematics, diagnosing, and carrying out repairs on 12/24v electrical systems.
• Attending in-field breakdowns and repairing faults safely and efficiently.
• Create detailed parts lists for faults found during inspections for future repairs.

• Maintain a fleet of Haul Trucks and associated plant equipment safely and efficiently in order to meet site maintenance schedules
• Servicing and repairs to heavy vehicle air-condition systems
• Reading electrical schematics, diagnosing, and carrying out repairs on 12/24v electrical systems
• Attending in-field breakdowns and repairing faults safely and efficiently
• Create detailed parts lists for faults found during inspections for future repairs
• CAT and Liebherr experience desirable.

About you
