Job summary

Marble Group is offering a full-time permanent role at a major open pit coal mine near Gunnedah. You will work with an experienced team, learn on mining open pit earthmoving equipment, and access modern gear in a strong safety-focused environment.

The role provides a 7:7 roster (days and nights), DIDO accommodation and meals, a modern workshop, and extensive training opportunities to develop your skills and career in mining equipment maintenance.

Qualifications

• Minimum 2+ years post trade experience working on heavy vehicles, civil plant or mining equipment.
• Strong understanding of CAT machinery and safety values.
• Ability to work well in a team and autonomously when required.

Responsibilities

• Duties include preventative maintenance, scheduled servicing, electrical fault finding and diagnostics and responding to breakdowns.
• Role may be workshop, field service, or both depending on needs.
• Operate on CAT trucks, loaders, dozers and graders as part of maintenance.Participate in a well-connected, experienced crew.

The Project & Roster

Located near Gunnedah this large open pit coal mine offers a great opportunity to train up and further your skills in the mining industry. With a large, experienced team the site offers:

• Excellent training and development, including OEM training
• Family friendly roster - 7:7 (days and nights)
• Good camp with gym, a wet mess and recreational areas
• Site located 50 minutes' drive from Gunnedah

The Duties

Your minimum of 2+ years post trade experience working on heavy vehicles, civil plant or mining equipment will put you in a great position to start on this site.

• Depending on your skills the role will be workshop, field service or both
• Working in a well-connected and experienced crew
• Machinery - CAT trucks, loaders, dozers, graders. CAT and Hitachi excavators
• Duties include preventative maintenance, scheduled servicing, electrical fault finding and diagnostics and responding to breakdowns.

DIDO, Accommodation and Meals
