Job summary

Marble Group is seeking an Auto Electrician for a long-term mining project in Australia. The role involves working in an above-ground workshop and field service support, handling maintenance, repairs, and diagnostics on drills, trucks, and related equipment.

You will perform scheduled maintenance, diagnose faults, and provide technical support while adhering to safety policies. A valid Australian Driver’s Licence and ability to obtain a National Police Check are required.

Qualifications

• Experience in heavy, civil, road transport or agricultural sectors.
• Underground or mining experience is highly regarded.
• Holder of a valid Australian Drivers Licence and ability to obtain a National Police Check within 6–8 months.

Responsibilities

• Undertaking scheduled and preventative maintenance, repairs, and fitting parts.
• Attending breakdowns, fault finding and diagnostic work, and providing technical support.
• Working within safety guidelines, policies, and procedures.

The Setup

A long-term contract in the heart of South Australian mining, the site is a well estbalished attractive mining hub with further inclusions planned for the future.

The Roster

Roster will be a week a 2/2 - week of days / week of nights, the travel would consist of the below;

• Fly interstate evening before, stay overnight in Adelaide (accom provided) and to site first thing in the morning - 12-hour shifts
• Leave site in the morning for R&R and interstate mid morning/early afternoon

The Role

Your position as an Auto Electrician will see you working in the above ground workshop and assisting in field service with breakdowns as required, machinery consisting of drills, boggers, trucks, ITs, light vehicles and more.

• Undertaking scheduled and preventative maintenance, repairs, and fitting parts
• Attending breakdowns, fault finding and diagnostic work, and providing technical support
• Working within safety guidelines, policies, and procedures

Your Value

The ideal candidate will come from a heavy, civil, road transport or agricultural background - underground or mining experience is highly regarded.

• Able to adapt to various conditions & environments across the workshop/field
• Hold a valid Australian Drivers Licence + able to obtain a National Police Check within 6-8 months
