Job summary

MacKellar Group is seeking experienced Auto Electricians to join our permanent maintenance team at the Blackwater Workshop. You’ll work with a skilled crew, supporting a modern fleet of heavy mining equipment in a quality workshop environment.

This role features a 7/7 day-shift roster with no night shifts, permanent full-time employment, camp accommodation and meals, competitive pay up to $71.08/hr plus super, and long‑term career progression with a respected mining contractor.

Qualifications

• Auto Electrician with heavy mining/earthmoving equipment experience.
• Current Refrigerant Handling Licence / Air Conditioning Ticket.
• Current Queensland Driver Licence.
• Strong electrical diagnostic and fault-finding capabilities.
• Commitment to safe work practices and quality workmanship.
• Ability to work effectively as part of a maintenance team.

What You’ll Bring

We’re looking for a qualified Auto Electrician who takes pride in their work and enjoys working with heavy mobile equipment.
You’ll need:
