Job summary

Bendigo Kangan Institute, based at the Automotive Centre of Excellence in Docklands, seeks an Auto Electrical Teacher for workplace delivery. You will deliver and assess auto electrical training, while integrating current industry practices and mentoring apprentices in a hands-on setting.

The role includes planning workplace visits, mentoring students, and coordinating with employers. Travel to employer sites occurs 2–3 days weekly with the rest handling administration and follow-up.

Qualifications

• Auto electrical knowledge and hands-on experience required.
• Certificate IV Training and Assessment (TAE) or willingness to undertake to teach.
• Current Driver's License is essential.
• Ability to work independently and in a team environment.

Responsibilities

• Plan, manage and report on workplace visits to learners and employers.
• Share current industry knowledge and demonstrate safe, high-quality work practices.
• Plan learning activities and maintain training records.
• Contribute to quality and compliance requirements.
