Job summary

PR Projects is seeking a motivated Auto Electrical Apprentice to join our Group Training Organisation and be placed with a global manufacturer at the forefront of transport technology.

You will assist with installation, testing, fault-finding, repair and commissioning of electrical systems on modern passenger transport vehicles, gaining hands-on experience and exposure to diagnostics, battery systems, and control systems. A strong safety mindset and teamwork are essential.

Qualifications

• Currently undertaking an Automotive Electrical Technology apprenticeship.
• Open to 2nd, 3rd and 4th Year Apprentices
• Strong interest in auto electrical systems and emerging technologies
• Positive attitude and willingness to learn
• Strong commitment to safety and quality workmanship
• Ability to work effectively within a team environment
• Current Driver's Licence (preferred)

Responsibilities

• Assist with installation, testing, fault-finding, repair and commissioning of electrical systems on modern passenger transport vehicles.
• Gain experience in vehicle electrical systems and diagnostics.
• Read and interpret technical drawings and schematics.
• Perform preventative maintenance and repairs.

Are you a 2nd, 3rd or 4th Year Auto Electrical Apprentice looking to further your career with an industry-leading manufacturer of advanced passenger transport vehicles? PR Projects is seeking a motivated and reliable apprentice to join our Group Training Organisation and be placed with a highly respected global manufacturer operating at the forefront of transport technology. This is an exciting opportunity to work alongside experienced technicians while gaining exposure to modern vehicle electrical systems, diagnostics, commissioning and emerging technologies within the transport sector. This role offers excellent hands-on learning opportunities and the potential for ongoing employment, either with the host employer or through PR Projects' network of industry-leading host employers.

About the Role

Working alongside experienced professionals, you will assist with the installation, testing, fault-finding, repair and commissioning of electrical systems on modern passenger transport vehicles. You will gain experience in areas such as:

• Vehicle electrical systems and wiring
• Electrical fault finding and diagnostics
• Battery systems and charging infrastructure
• Lighting, communication and control systems
• Testing and commissioning activities
• Preventative maintenance and repairs
• Reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics
