Affirm is pioneering honest credit. The Australian Regulatory Compliance Manager will lead local regulatory programs, translating global strategy into compliant local execution while ensuring licensing, governance, and consumer outcomes align with ASIC guidance.

You will manage a team, oversee reporting, and collaborate with Product, Legal, Credit, and Marketing to support responsible growth in Australia, with a remote-first work model.

Qualifications

• 8+ years of regulatory compliance experience in Australian financial services with people management.
• Strong knowledge of Australian consumer credit and conduct regulation and ASIC expectations.
• Experience leading regulatory change, obligations management, compliance monitoring and breach reporting.
• Proven ability to influence senior stakeholders and drive program execution.
• Bachelor’s degree in a relevant field; complianceish governance qualification preferred.

Responsibilities

• Own and oversee the Australian regulatory compliance framework for consumer credit and related financial services.
• Maintain compliance arrangements to meet licence obligations and regulatory changes.
• Lead ASIC examinations, inquiries, and licence interactions.
• Oversee regulatory reporting and governance across risk areas.
• Partner with Product, Legal, Credit, Marketing, and Engineering to guide regulatory decisions.
