Job summary

Transak, an Australian fintech platform, seeks an Australia-based Responsible Manager to support its AFSL application and ongoing local operating model. The role leads regulatory governance, token perimeter mapping, and local compliance for Australia’s payments and digital asset services.

You will collaborate with Legal, Compliance, Product, and Risk teams to ensure regulatory credibility, robust documentation, and effective governance across local operations.

Qualifications

• 8+ years in financial services compliance, licensing, legal/regulatory, risk, payments, or digital assets.
• Strong understanding of Australian financial services regulation, Corporations Act obligations, AFCA, PI insurance, breach reporting, and governance expectations.
• Able to evidence ASIC-regulated financial services experience and provide RM proofs.

Responsibilities

• Act as proposed Responsible Manager for Transak Australia's AFSL application, subject to fit.
• Support preparation of ASIC FS01, A5/B5 business description proofs, RM proofs, and competence statements.
• Evidence knowledge, skill, experience, and availability to support Transak's authorisations.
• Collaborate with local counsel to finalise RM competence pack and respond to ASIC questions.
• Localise Australia compliance framework (AML/CTF, risk, complaints) and monitor governance.
