BDO Australia in Melbourne invites applications for an Auditor to join our Melbourne Audit team. You will contribute to audits across listed, private and not-for-profit clients, while collaborating with managers and senior staff on risk assessment and audit planning.

The successful candidate will have external audit experience (1+ year) and be pursuing CA or CPA qualification, with strong communication and teamwork skills to thrive in a supportive, partner-led environment.

Qualificações

• External audit experience in a professional services firm (minimum 1 year).
• Pursuing CA or CPA qualification.
• Ability to identify issues and contribute to problem solving.
• Strong communication skills and ability to work effectively within a team.

Responsabilidades

• Support the execution of audits for listed, private and not-for-profit companies across sizes and industries.
• Work closely with the engagement Manager and senior team members to identify audit risks and contribute to the audit approach.
• Develop and document understanding of client processes and internal controls.
• Document findings from audit procedures and communicate them to senior team members.
• Assist with drafting client-facing audit reports and management representation letters.
• Liaise with clients regarding audit requests throughout the audit lifecycle.
• Play an active role in shaping the culture of the Melbourne audit team.
