Job summary

Crowe (Findex) in Australia is hiring for a senior audit professional to lead engagements, manage budgets and coach teams. You will build trusted client relationships, ensure audits meet Australian standards, and drive quality deliverables end-to-end.

Qualifications

• Auditing experience in Australia with knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards and Australian Accounting Standards.
• CA, CPA or equivalent qualifications.
• Ability to manage competing priorities within agreed timeframes.
• Experience leading and coaching teams.
• Experience reviewing financial statements and resolving technical audit matters.
• Experience with CaseWare Working Papers is advantageous.

Responsibilities

• Be a key contact for clients, building trust and long-term working relationships.
• Plan and deliver audits to quality, budget and regulatory standards, including timelines and methodology.
• Lead engagement teams, allocate work and monitor progress.
• Review audit working papers, financial statements and audit reports.
• Identify and resolve accounting and audit matters, escalating as needed.
• Communicate audit findings clearly to clients.
• Coach and develop team members with regular feedback.
• Ensure compliance with audit methodology and standards.
• Manage engagement economics, including budgets and WIP.
• Identify growth opportunities and support fee proposals.
