Job summary

Crowe (Findex) is seeking a Senior Auditor in Melbourne to lead internal audit engagements from risk identification to reporting. You will drive quality, mentor teams, and maintain client relationships while staying compliant with evolving regulatory requirements.

You will join a flexible, hybrid role with opportunities for professional development, study support, and a strong network within the Not-for-Profit and public sectors.

Qualifications

• Experience in Internal Audit or Risk Consulting in Australian public practice.
• Experience in government, public sector agencies and/or Not for Profit sectors highly regarded.
• Postgraduate qualifications and memberships to professional bodies such as IIA, CPA, CAANZ, or RMIA are highly regarded.

Job description

Join our growing Internal Audit team as a Senior Auditor in our Melbourne office. You’ll take real ownership of audit engagements, be the go-to person driving quality, and momentum across every team you lead. It’s a role requiring sharp technical judgement, genuine leadership, and a real eye for detail.

What you will bring to the role:

• Experience in Internal Audit or Risk Consulting in Australian public practice.
• Experience in government, public sector agencies and/or Not for Profit sectors highly regarded.
• Completed or working towards relevant postgraduate qualifications and memberships to professional bodies such as IIA, CPA, CAANZ, or RMIA are highly regarded
• Confident written and verbal communication skills.
• Excellent stakeholder management, relationship building, and networking skills.
• An investigative mind, the ability to logically and correctly analyse information to inform findings and conclusions.
