Job summary

Crowe (Findex) is seeking an Audit Manager to lead Australian audits, manage engagement economics and coach teams in delivering high-quality work. You will serve as a key client contact, ensuring compliance with Australian Auditing Standards and Crowe methodologies.

The role focuses on delivering timely reports, developing staff, and identifying opportunities to grow client engagement while maintaining strong professional relationships with stakeholders.

Qualifications

• Demonstrated external audit experience in Australia.
• Strong knowledge of Australian Auditing Standards and Australian Accounting Standards.
• Experience leading and inspiring audit teams and coaching staff.

Responsibilities

• Plan and deliver audits to quality, budget and timelines.
• Lead engagement teams and allocate work effectively.
• Review working papers, financial statements, audit reports and management letters.
• Communicate audit findings clearly to clients and escalate issues as needed.
• Manage engagement economics including budgets, WIP and resourcing.
• Identify growth opportunities and support fee proposals.
