Crown Melbourne is seeking an Analyst - Audit and Assurance to join the Finance team. You will execute audit and assurance procedures, complete revenue and system reconciliations, and perform controls testing to support regulatory compliance and risk management.

Working with Gaming Operations, Cage & Count, Finance, Risk & Compliance and Technology, you’ll analyse large data sets, prepare workpapers and reports, and help strengthen controls.

Qualifications

• 2+ years' experience in audit, assurance, risk, compliance, financial controls or a related analytical role.
• Experience performing reconciliations, controls testing, data analysis and exception-based reviews in regulated environments.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with evidence-based conclusions.
• High attention to detail and solid documentation and record-keeping.
• Understanding of internal controls, risk management and audit methodologies.
• Advanced communication and stakeholder engagement across multiple functions.
• Proficient Excel, data analysis and reporting; Power BI/SQL experience is advantageous.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting/Finance/Commerce; professional qualification progress is advantageous.

Responsabilités

• Execute audit and assurance procedures in line with approved programs and regulatory requirements.
• Complete revenue and system reconciliations, identify anomalies and variances.
• Perform controls testing, walkthroughs and evidence collection to assess key processes.
• Analyse large data volumes to identify trends, risks and compliance issues.
• Prepare audit workpapers and supporting documentation with clear findings.
• Support investigations into discrepancies and escalate issues when required.
• Collaborate with Gaming Operations, Cage & Count, Finance, Risk & Compliance and Technology to validate findings.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of controls, processes and reporting.
