PRO-TAX RECRUITMENT LIMITED is assisting a Top 20 accountancy firm in appointing an Audit & Accounts Manager in South London. The role involves leading audits (60%) and accounts preparation (40%), managing client portfolios and developing junior staff.

You will work closely with Partners on delivery, risk management and growth initiatives. The successful candidate will have ACA/ACCA, strong audit experience with SMEs, and proven leadership.

Qualifications

• Qualified audit professional with ACA/ACCA.
• Experience leading audit assignments for SME/OMB clients.
• Strong client relationship management and communication skills.
• Proven track record in developing junior staff and leading teams.

Responsabilités

• Manage a portfolio of SME/OMB clients and lead audits from planning to completion.
• Review audit files and finalise accounts ahead of Partner sign-off.
• Build and maintain client relationships; act as main point of contact.
• Oversee statutory accounts preparation and related deliverables.
• Manage budgets, deadlines, WIP and workflow; monitor resource allocation.
• Coach and develop Seniors and Juniors; support staff career progression.
• Collaborate with Partners on client delivery and business development.
