Job summary

Fuse Recruitment is assisting a Top 25 accounting and advisory firm in Melbourne to recruit for Intermediate Auditors, Senior Auditors and Audit Managers. You’ll work across a diverse client portfolio and progressively take ownership of engagements, client relationships and team leadership.

Flexibility around level, with hybrid and flexible working arrangements, and opportunities to mentor junior staff as you progress to Manager level.

Qualifications

• Experience in external audit, preferably in public practice.
• Accounting/Commerce degree or equivalent.
• CA/CPA qualified or studying toward qualification.
• Strong technical and analytical capabilities.
• Confident communication and client relationships.
• Able to manage competing deadlines and multiple engagements.
• Manager-level: experience leading engagements and mentoring staff.

Responsibilities

• Manage or contribute to end-to-end external audit engagements.
• Plan, execute and complete audit assignments in accordance with relevant standards.
• Prepare and review audit files, financial statements and supporting documentation.
• Identify audit risks, issues and opportunities for improvement.
• Build strong relationships and act as a key point of contact for clients.
• Work closely with Managers, Directors and Partners.
• At Senior/Manager level, review work and mentor junior team members.
• At Manager level, take ownership of engagement planning, client relationships, budgets and workflow.

With flexibility around level, we're interested in speaking with Intermediate Auditors, Senior Auditors and experienced Audit Managers, as well as ambitious candidates ready to take the next step in their careers.
