Job summary

Penfold Motor Group is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join the Audi team. You will diagnose complex faults across the Audi range, using advanced diagnostic equipment and manufacturer information to deliver repairs to exacting standards.

Ideal candidates have a motor vehicle technician qualification, strong diagnostic skills and a passion for premium automotive technology. Audi training and a supportive workshop environment are provided.

Qualifications

• Trade qualification as a Motor Vehicle Technician.
• Proven experience in automotive diagnostics, ideally within a premium brand.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle systems.
• Advanced fault-finding and diagnostic capabilities.
• Confidence using manufacturer diagnostic equipment and technology.
• Excellent attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Current Australian Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle faults.
• Utilise Audi diagnostic equipment and technical information to identify issues.
• Perform advanced testing, fault-finding and vehicle system analysis.
• Complete repairs and technical work to Audi manufacturer standards.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, testing and road tests to verify repairs.
• Provide technical support and guidance to workshop technicians when required.
• Accurately document diagnostic findings, repairs and warranty information.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and workshop presentation.
• Participate in ongoing Audi manufacturer training and technical development.
