Job summary

Peter Warren Automotive Holdings is seeking a highly skilled Diagnostic Technician at Mercedes-Benz, Mosman. The role focuses on advanced diagnostics, fault finding, and delivering premium workmanship aligned with Mercedes-Benz standards.

You will collaborate with Mercedes-Benz Australia, conduct road tests, mentor peers, and engage in ongoing manufacturer training to grow your technical expertise within a supportive workshop.

Qualifications

• Qualified Automotive Technician trade certification (essential).
• A minimum of five years' experience in a senior technician or diagnostic role.
• Exceptional diagnostic, fault-finding and problem-solving skills.
• A current Australian Driver Licence.

Responsibilities

• Perform advanced diagnostics across the Mercedes-Benz passenger and van range.
• Diagnose and repair complex mechanical and electrical faults with precision and efficiency.
• Collaborate with Mercedes-Benz Australia to resolve technical issues and implement manufacturer solutions.
• Complete repairs in accordance with manufacturer standards and repair time guidelines.
• Conduct road tests and quality inspections to achieve a strong first-time fix rate.
• Mentor and support fellow technicians while continually developing your technical expertise through ongoing manufacturer training.
