Job summary

Penfold Motor Group is seeking an experienced Diagnostic Technician to join the Audi team and advance technical diagnostics across the Audi range.

You will diagnose complex faults, utilise Audi diagnostic equipment, and perform repairs to manufacturer standards while engaging in ongoing Audi training and development.

Qualifications

• Must hold a trade qualification as a Motor Vehicle Technician.
• Experience in automotive diagnostics, preferably with premium brands.
• Strong knowledge of mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle systems.
• Excellent diagnostic and fault-finding skills with attention to detail.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle faults.
• Utilise Audi diagnostic equipment and information to identify issues.
• Perform advanced testing, fault-finding and vehicle system analysis.
• Complete repairs and technical work to Audi manufacturer standards.
• Document diagnostic findings and warranty information accurately.
• Provide technical support and guidance to workshop technicians when required.

About the Role

As a Diagnostic Technician, you'll be responsible for diagnosing complex mechanical, electrical and electronic faults across the Audi vehicle range. You'll use advanced diagnostic equipment and technical resources to accurately identify faults and deliver repairs to Audi manufacturer standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Diagnose complex mechanical, electrical and electronic vehicle faults.
• Utilise Audi diagnostic equipment and technical information to identify issues.
• Perform advanced testing, fault-finding and vehicle system analysis.
• Complete repairs and technical work to Audi manufacturer standards.
• Conduct vehicle inspections, testing and road tests to verify repairs.
• Provide technical support and guidance to workshop technicians when required.
• Accurately document diagnostic findings, repairs and warranty information.
• Maintain high standards of workmanship, safety and workshop presentation.
• Participate in ongoing Audi manufacturer training and technical development.

About You

You're an experienced technician who enjoys solving complex problems and has a genuine passion for automotive technology and diagnostics.
