Job summary

D2B in Australia is seeking a Conveyancing Paralegal / Conveyancing Assistant to support a busy residential practice. You will manage conveyancing workflows within Smokeball and PEXA, maintain file records, and coordinate with clients and third parties through onboarding to settlement.

Reporting to the supervising solicitor, you will work with an outsourced solicitor on file work and regular reviews in a structured, high-standard environment, handling deadlines and ensuring matters progress

Qualifications

Experience in residential conveyancing or Australian property law support.
Hands-on experience with Smokeball and PEXA.
Excellent file management and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal English communication.
Ability to manage competing deadlines in a high-volume matters.
Comfortable in a structured supervisory environment.

Responsibilities

Open and maintain matters in Smokeball and PEXA.
Coordinate with clients, agents, lenders, and solicitors.
Review contracts and supporting searches; prepare notes.
Coordinate amendments, negotiations, and settlements.
Monitor finance, pest/building/cooling-off requirements; ensure timely exchanges.
Maintain and update file records through to closure.
