Job summary

Macquarie Bank Limited seeks an Atlassian tooling specialist to drive rollout, adoption and effective use of Jira, Confluence and JSM across the division. You will collaborate with stakeholders to prioritise delivery practices and maximise platform value while aligning with enterprise standards.

You will manage a backlog of tooling requests, assess business challenges, propose solutions and guide teams on best practices, supporting enterprise rollout and adoption initiatives.

Our team supports Financial Management, People & Engagement, by partnering with stakeholders across the group and the broader enterprise, to establish consistent delivery practices, planning frameworks, reporting, and tooling that enable transparent, value-focused delivery. What role will you play?

You will act as the Atlassian tooling specialist for this division, driving the rollout, adoption and effective use of Atlassian tools and capabilities to improve ways of working across the organisation. You will partner with stakeholders to support consistent prioritisation and delivery practices, helping teams maximise the value of the platform while aligning with enterprise standards and best practices. Through collaboration, knowledge sharing and continuous improvement, you will contribute to a culture that promotes innovation, inclusion, accountability and sustainable outcomes.

You will manage and help prioritise a backlog of Atlassian tooling requests, enhancements and support activities across the division. Using your strong analytical and technical skills, you will assess business challenges and ways of working, identify suitable tooling solutions, and provide recommendations that improve efficiency and effectiveness. You will also perform technical analysis to support the implementation and rollout of platform changes, while leveraging your Atlassian expertise to guide teams on industry best practices and drive adoption of approved enterprise and group-specific solutions.
