Job summary

Red Bull Australia is seeking an Athlete Communication Manager based in Sydney to shape strategic communications for events, projects and athletes, leveraging earned media, influencer relations and content storytelling across the Red Bull Media Network.

You will lead 360 media plans, manage agencies and partners, and ensure brand integrity while building strong relationships with Australian media. A background in sports PR and a strong network are essential.

Qualifications

• 5-8 years’ experience in Media, Communications or PR is required.
• Proven experience developing and executing communications strategies within sports/athlete industry.

Responsibilities

• Plan and activate communications around Red Bull events, projects, and athletes.
• Lead athlete media strategy and 360° media plans to maximise visibility.
• Identify media opportunities and pitch compelling athlete stories to local media.
• Manage agencies, freelancers, and media partners; oversee budgets and reporting.
