Job summary

Red Bull Australia seeks an Athlete Specialist in Team Sports to shape and drive the brand’s partnerships with rugby league, basketball, and other major Australian team sports. You will lead strategy, nurture relationships with leagues, clubs and athletes, and ensure activation excellence across events, shoots and activations.

You will collaborate with global teams, coordinate annual programs, and deliver premium hospitality, tickets and on-site support.

Qualifications

• 4+ years' experience in marketing, sponsorships, partnerships, sports or agency environments.
• Experience working across Australian team sports, leagues, clubs and/or professional athletes.
• Strong relationship-building, communication and negotiation skills across internal and external stakeholders.
• Proven project management experience, with the ability to lead multiple campaigns, activations and budgets.
• Strong commercial acumen and creative thinking to identify and deliver new opportunities.

• Partner with leagues and teams to deliver impactful marketing activations that elevate the brand and product.
• Support negotiations for new partnerships and renewals, working closely with internal leadership teams.
• Coordinate yearly projects and ensure they are executed on time, on budget, and in line with Red Bull brand standards.
• Provide on-site support across events, shoots and activations, collaborating with Media and Brand teams.
• Collaborate with Field Marketing and Sales to deliver impactful game-day promotions, in-stadium activations and events.

You will stay connected to the top-watched and played sports and ensure our strategies and investments are in line with the biggest opportunities for our brand, which includes ownership and delivery of existing partnerships in both Rugby League & Basketball as well as shaping future investments.

The role involves working closely with all departments within Red Bull Australia to ensure strong visibility & execution of 360 marketing & sales programs leveraging our club and league partnerships to have an impact on our brand and product. You will be responsible for partnership and sponsorship negotiation, term delivery, evaluation and working day-to-day with our partners in a truly collaborative way, leaving a positive impact in the sports industry.

• Collaborate with Field Marketing and Sales to deliver impactful game-day promotions, in-stadium activations and events.
• Collaborate with Sales to drive brand presence around stadiums and deliver premium hospitality and ticketing experiences.
