Job summary

Amentum is seeking an Assurance Manager in Adelaide to lead assurance and audit activities across a project. You will provide independent oversight of governance, controls, and compliance to ensure effective delivery and continuous improvement.

The role requires experience in assurance, audit, governance, risk management, and strong reporting skills. You will work with project teams to promote a culture of compliance and excellence.

Qualifications

• Experience in assurance, audit, governance, risk management, compliance, or project management.
• Strong report writing and stakeholder engagement capabilities.
• High attention to detail and a commitment to quality and compliance.
• Ability to manage competing priorities and work independently.

Responsibilities

• Perform and manage all assurance and audit activities for a project or assigned area.
• Plan, coordinate, and execute assurance reviews and audits in accordance with the approved assurance framework.
• Assess compliance with project governance, policies, procedures, and standards.
• Identify, document, and communicate audit findings, observations, risks, and improvement opportunities.
• Prepare assurance reports and present outcomes to project leadership and governance forums.
• Monitor and follow up on corrective actions to ensure timely closure of audit findings and recommendations.
• Maintain assurance schedules, registers, and records to support governance and reporting requirements.
• Provide independent advice on the effectiveness of project controls, governance processes, and risk management practices.
• Support the development and continuous improvement of assurance methodologies, tools, and processes.
• Work collaboratively with project teams and stakeholders to promote a culture of compliance, accountability, and continuous improvement.
