Gilchrist Connell is expanding its Coverage and Financial Lines team in Sydney and seeks a talented lawyer to handle complex insurance matters for leading insurer and corporate clients. You will work closely with Principals on D&O, PI, FI liability, and media risks, delivering high-quality coverage advice and defence work.

The role offers strong exposure, early responsibility, and growth in a collaborative, people‑first culture with flexible and supportive policies.

About The Role

Due to continued growth, we are expanding our Coverage and Financial Lines practice and are seeking a talented lawyer to join our high-performing team in SydneyYou will work closely with our Principals on a range of complex and high‑value insurance matters, supporting leading insurer and corporate clients across:

• Directors’ & Officers’ (D&O) liability


• Financial Institutions liability


• Professional Indemnity (PI)


• Media & Technology risks


• Coverage advice and defence work

This role offers strong exposure to technically sophisticated work, meaningful responsibility from the outset, and the opportunity to further develop your expertise within a collaborative and growing practice.
