Our client is a major Australian law firm with a leading reputation.

The Sydney office is now looking for a Associate / Senior Associate level lawyer to work in their Employment Law team.

About the role

We are actively seeking an associate / senior associate with expertise in employment & work health and safety (WHS) law to join a well regarded Sydney specialist team.

The team is renowned for its exceptional mentorship and positive culture, supported by encouraging partners. This unique role will focus on providing employment law needs of private sector employers and all three tiers of government.

This rewarding role offers opportunities to work across a broad range of areas including employment, industrial relations and discrimination.

Key Responsibilities

• Provide expert legal advice on employment law, industrial relations, WHS, and discrimination
• Deliver practical, commercial, and innovative legal solutions tailored to client needs
• Represent clients in tribunals and courts across a variety of employment-related matters

About you

You will have 4-8 years' PQE, with experience in transactional / corporate support, employment work and work health and safety.

In addition, you will have:

• Experience in litigation and alternative dispute resolution including appearances at tribunals and/or court
• An enquiring mind as well as sound judgement and a can-do attitude
• A commitment to team work and achieving challenging objectives
• Manage your time efficiently and use initiative
