SCR South Coast Radiology – Olympic Park NSW is seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager on a 12-month maternity leave contract. The role focuses on clinical and operational leadership within the Day Procedure Centre, supporting patient-centred care.

The position is part-time (3 days per week) with a rotating 5-day roster and requires availability to lead in the absence of the Director of Nursing while coordinating across multiple teams to ensure safe, high-quality care.

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Demonstrated leadership and strong communication skills.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Experience in radiology, day procedures, perioperative or acute care settings is highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and coordinate patient flow across pre-admission, admission, procedure, recovery and discharge areas.
• Support the Director of Nursing with workforce coordination, staff allocation, mentoring and clinical support.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement in line with NSQHS Standards and governance requirements.
• Assist with incident management, risk identification, quality activities and accreditation compliance.
• Collaborate with nursing, medical, technical and administrative teams to ensure efficient service delivery and exceptional patient experience.
• Act as the designated clinical leader in the absence of the Director of Nursing, including occasional out-of-hours availability to support rostering and urgent enquiries.

Imaging @ Olympic Park (IOP) are currently seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager on a 12-month maternity leave contract.

The position will help provide clinical and operational leadership within the Day Procedure Centre, supporting the Director of Nursing to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care.

This is a rare opportunity to join one of Australia's premier day procedure imaging clinics, the role is a part-time position (3 days per week) that will require availability on a rotating 5-day (Mon-Fri) roster.

The medical imaging nursing team are responsible for providing patient care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures.

Your responsibilities will include but are not limited to the following:

• Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and coordinate patient flow across pre-admission, admission, procedure, recovery and discharge areas.
• Support the Director of Nursing with workforce coordination, staff allocation, mentoring and clinical support.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement in line with NSQHS Standards and clinical governance requirements.
• Assist with incident management, risk identification, quality activities and accreditation compliance.

About You

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Demonstrated leadership capability with strong communication and organisational skills.
• Commitment to patient safety, quality improvement and multidisciplinary teamwork.
• Experience in radiology, day procedure, perioperative or acute care settings will be highly regarded.
• Ability to respond effectively in emergency situations.
• Flexibility for overtime requirements as rostered and required.
