Imaging @ Olympic Park in Melbourne is seeking an Associate Nurse Unit Manager on a 12-month maternity leave contract. This part-time role (3 days per week) involves leading a day procedure nursing team across pre-admission, procedure, recovery and discharge, with shift flexibility and occasional out-of-hours support.

You will support the Director of Nursing with workforce coordination, mentoring and clinical governance, ensuring safe, high-quality, patient-centred care in a premier imaging

Qualifications

• Registered Nurse with current AHPRA registration.
• Demonstrated leadership capability with strong communication and organisational skills.
• Experience in radiology, day procedure, perioperative or acute care settings will be highly regarded.

Responsibilities

• Provide day-to-day clinical leadership and coordinate patient flow across pre-admission, admission, procedure, recovery and discharge areas.
• Support the Director of Nursing with workforce coordination, staff allocation, mentoring and clinical support.
• Promote a culture of safety, quality and continuous improvement in line with NSQHS Standards and clinical governance requirements.
• Assist with incident management, risk identification, quality activities and accreditation compliance.
• Collaborate with nursing, medical, technical and administrative teams to ensure efficient service delivery and an exceptional patient experience.
• Act as the designated clinical leader in the absence of the Director of Nursing, within scope of practice.

The position will help provide clinical and operational leadership within the Day Procedure Centre, supporting the Director of Nursing to ensure the delivery of safe, high-quality, patient-centred care. This is a rare opportunity to join one of Australia's premier day procedure imaging clinics, the role is a **part-time** position (3 days per week) that will require availability on a rotating 5-day (Mon-Fri) roster. The medical imaging nursing team are responsible for providing patient care for patients undergoing diagnostic and interventional radiological procedures.
