Job summary

South Coast Radiology seeks an experienced MRI Modality Lead to oversee MRI services across Gold Coast, Toowoomba and Mackay regions. You will provide clinical leadership, mentor Radiographers and support training programs while maintaining high-quality imaging and patient care.

The role includes involvement in protocol optimization and service development. The ideal candidate will have MRI leadership experience, AHPRA registration, and Cardiac MRI exposure, with strong stakeholder communication

Qualifications

• Leadership experience in MRI services or modality lead role.
• Strong knowledge of MRI safety, protocols and scanning techniques.
• Experience with Cardiac MRI or advanced MRI imaging is highly regarded.
• Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsibilities

• Provide clinical leadership and support to the MRI team.
• Maintain a high-quality, efficient and patient-focused MRI service.
• Lead best practice across MRI safety, protocols and scanning techniques.
• Support advanced MRI imaging, including Cardiac MRI.
• Support the MRI training program and mentor Radiographers.

You will lead and support South Coast Radiology in MRI across a broad range of routine and advanced imaging, including Cardiac MRI. With Siemens and GE MRI technology across a fleet of 11 magnets.
